Albert Anthony LaNinfa

Albert Anthony LaNinfa, 97, a Lee County, FL resident since 1983, formerly of Cape Cod, MA, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Ft. Myers. He was born December 31, 1916 in Providence, RI to Eleuterio “Jack” and Mary LaNinfa, now deceased.
In his early days he was an accomplished pianist with many of the “Big Bands” of that era. In 1966 he retired as CFO of Worcester Pressed Aluminum, Worcester MA. He remained a devout Catholic throughout his life.

He is survived by his four beloved children, Carole Collins (Francis) of Cape Coral, FL, Patricia Henderson (Michael) of Ft. Myers, FL and Cape Cod, Gerard LaNinfa of Venice, FL and Doreen LaNinfa also of Cape Coral; a sister, Lillian Howes of Southborough, MA; as well as eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Albert was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis LaNinfa in 1996; a daughter, Donna Marie LaNinfa; a sister, Esther Del Sesto; as well as a grandson, Paul Jude Collins.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 1922 SW 20th Ave, Cape Coral, FL 33991 with Father John Deary officiating.
