Bruce W. Luma

June 13, 1949 - February 4, 2018

Bruce Wayne Luma, 68, a resident of Lee County since 1982, formerly of Sandusky, OH, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Tampa. He was born June 13, 1949 in Lima, OH to Bernard and Patricia Luma, now deceased.

Bruce loved spending time with his wife/best friend, his dog Rocky (named after his favorite movie), fishing, and visiting with friends and family. His favorite past time was riding around in his convertible with his wife. Bruce was a Ford Motor Company retiree from Sandusky, OH and a long-time car salesman in Fort Myers, FL.

He is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Margie Luma of Estero; five children, Kevin Stewart of Sandusky, OH, Bruce Luma, Jr. of Sandusky, OH, Ryan Luma of N. Ft. Myers, FL, Brittany Godwin (James) of Marysville, OH and Elizabeth Grimm (Robert) of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Mike Luma (Birdy) of Castalia, OH, Denny Luma (Chris) of Huntington, IN, and his sister in-law Lori Luma-Michael; nine grandchildren, Caroline, Kevin, Jr., Kourtney, Gianna, Amber, Ethan, Briseis, Raegan and Mason; one great grandchild, Rhowinn; father and mother in-law, Bill and Marlene Temple; as well as a daughter in-law, Natasha Luma of Port Clinton, OH.

Bruce was preceded in death by a son, James “Jamie” Luma (Natasha) and a brother, Kevin Luma (Lori).

A private Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held at a later date.
