Clara M. Albanese

Clara Marie Albanese, 93, a resident of Ft. Myers since 1972, formerly of Miami, FL, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 in Ft. Myers. She was born February 26, 1924 to Dominic and Thomasina Rostier, now deceased.

Clara was a parishioner of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church of Ft. Myers. She will always be remembered for her undying devotion to her family, her strength, determination, hard work and her positive get things done attitude.

She is survived by her two loving daughters, Karla Albanese Davis (Dennis) of Jupiter, FL and Jennifer Williams (Kenny) of Ft. Myers; five grandchildren, Dennis Jr., Trisha, Kristin, Jordan and Jacob; as well as six great grandchildren, Hannah, Alexandra, Reagan Marie, Jake, Cameron and Harper Claire.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband Angelo Albanese in 1991; two sons, Thomas Albanese and Angelo Albanese, Jr; two sisters, Mary Jane Lamotta and Antoinette Komara; as well as her brother Patrick Rostier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 5632 Sunrise Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33919 with Father Stan officiating. A reception will follow the mass in the Parish Hall. Entombment will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
