Deane M. Zurenko

Deane Marie Zurenko, 81, a resident of Lee County, FL since 2005, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born January 10, 1937 in Nancy, Kentucky to Ralph and Opal Buchanan, now deceased.

Deane worked as a longtime assistant to a group of psychologists at The Behavioral Science Center in Cincinnati. She attended Edgecliff College to further her passion for Psychology. She enjoyed Face Time with her Grandson, Tyler; spending time with family and friends; helping other people by volunteering her time and lending a sympathetic ear. Deane had a wonderful smile and beautiful blue eyes that could light up a room.

She is survived by two loving children, Joseph Zurenko (Kayoko) of Alameda, CA and Carla Moseley (John) of Cape Coral, FL; three brothers, Nathan Buchanan of Nancy, KY; James Buchanan of Florence, KY and Charles Buchanan (Brenda) of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, Tyler, Kristen and Mardi; five great grandchildren, Ethan, Taylor, Joey, Bella, and Gianna; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Deane was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Epperson.
