Deborah Diane Kirkland

Deborah D. Kirkland, 55, a Cape Coral resident, formerly of Akron, OH, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Fort Myers. She was born February 9, 1959 in Akron, OH to Frank and Norma Lehner, now deceased.

Deborah was a very loving and nurturing Mother, Sister, and Grandmother for all of her years. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a wonderful person, always putting others happiness before her own. She always made the best of every situation, keeping a smile on her face during even the toughest of times. She will forever live on in spirit, in our thoughts and in our hearts. She will be deeply missed by every person who was ever lucky enough to have known her. We take comfort knowing that she now lay at peace, watching over us until the day when we are once again reunited.

She is survived by her two children, Kris Kirkland of Ft. Myers, FL and Andrea Kirkland Peters (Matthew) of Cape Coral, FL; two sisters, Theresa Burdeno (Matt) of Kent, OH and Julie Roberts of Cleveland, OH; two cousins, Dianna Potts and Kimberly Ilg of Akron, OH; one niece, Marissa Burdeno of Kent, OH and two grandchildren, Alexis Duchene and Briella Peters of Cape Coral, FL.
