Elizabeth M. McCarthy

Elizabeth Marie McCarthy, 62, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 2001, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born April 12, 1955 in Miami, FL to George Samuel Clark, Jr. and Gloria Verlene Byrd, now deceased.

Elizabeth was of the Christian faith. She was a home maker for most of her life and also bartended through the years.She was the most selfless person and had such a strong love for the lord. She always wanted to make everyone else happy and always put everyone else before herself. She enjoyed reading her bible, cooking, crafting and shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her family, children, and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by us all.

She is survived by husband, Philip McCarthy of Fort Myers; two children, Darrell Dwayne Howell, Son and Daughter-in-law, Jaclyn Howell of Cape Coral and Tiffany Schott, Daughter and Son-in-law of Smyrna, TN; as well as eight grandchildren, Jayden, Austin, Kaitlyn, Ethan, Logan, Chloe, Tristan and Tenley.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sarah Howell; as well as a sister, Linda Clark Hochreiter.

No formal services are planned at this time.
