Janet G. Massey

Janet G. Massey, 76, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 23 years, formerly of Athens, GA passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in Fort Myers, FL. She was born April 17, 1940 in White Plains, NY to George and Lucille Genest, now deceased.

Janet was a devoted army wife and mother, avid bridge player and a lifelong NY Rangers fan.

She is survived by four loving children, Mary Lou Massey (along with her five dogs and one cat) of Cape Coral, James Massey (Martha) of Macon, GA, Anne Reed of Cape Coral, and George Massey (along with his three dogs) of Athens, GA; brother in law, Robert Glasscock of Greenville, AL; cousin, Barbara Jean Ruggiero of TN; as well as three grandchildren, Katherine Massey of Austin, TX, Ashley Massey of Macon, GA and Jamie Massey of Grass Valley, CA.

Private services will be held.
