John Vogel

John Vogel, 53, a resident of North Ft. Myers, FL for the past 30 years, formerly of Long Island, NY passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born December 24, 1963 in Islip, NY.

John was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a God-fearing, Jesus-loving, spirit filled servant of God and people.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Catherine “Cathy” Vogel of North Ft. Myers; loving parents, Peter and Harriet Vogel of Palm Beach, FL; five loving children, Dawn Marie Vogel and fiancé, Jhon Reyes, Deanna Vogel and fiancé, James Dorador, Dennielle Harrison (Austin), John Vogel, Jr., all of North Ft. Myers, and David Vogel of Elizabethon, TN; four loving siblings, Peter Vogel of NC, Maria Azarowicz of West Palm Beach, FL, Melissa Lebright (Matthew) of Hollywood, FL, and Joy Berla (Mike) of West Palm Beach, FL; five grandchildren, Charlie, Michael, Cameron, Arianna, and Ava; mother-in-law, Catherine Acquafredda of Pembroke Pines, FL; as well as the family dog, Meika.

John was preceded in death by a daughter, Destiny Marie Vogel.

Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Grace United Methodist Church, 13 SE 21st Place, Cape Coral, FL 33990 with Jorge Acevedo and Wes Furlong officiating.
