Joseph G. Elieff

Joseph Gerard Elieff, 53, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past 19 years, formerly of Lansing, MI, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at his home in Cape Coral, FL with his loving wife of 17 years by his side. He was born January 25,1965 in Lansing, MI.

Joseph attended First Assembly of God in Fort Myers, FL. Joe was a successful business man in SW Florida and owner/operator of D & S Fabric Repair Services, Inc. for 19 years. He loved his job and was very dedicated. He didn’t miss a day for anything. Joe had a contagious smile and was filled with joy, love, and light. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He was a true example of God’s love that was shown through him, and a true blessing to all that knew him. The stories that have come out, oh my, only Joe, alias Jobin, alias Jobinator, alias Jobin Alexis Argueos Sipalano. Everyone had a nickname for him. It was often jokingly said that he could throw rocks to the moon. When his step children were young they thought that he had superpowers. He was his wife’s true soul mate, best friend, and the man God created just for her. We will all miss him until we see him again in paradise. Joe is now in the hands of our Lord and Savior enjoying paradise and I’m sure has been told, “job well done.” Fly high Joe and know that you left behind a legacy of love to all that knew you. You invested your unconditional love and time into so many.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Mary Jo Elieff of Cape Coral; loving mother, Marie Elieff of Grand Ledge, MI; two children, Joshua Provost of Cape Coral, and Nicole Hart of Lansing, MI; seven siblings, Christine Lawless (Mike) of MI, Michelle Elie (Vince) of MI, Mary Day (Jeff) of CO, David Elieff (Suze) of FL, John Elieff (Kerry) of MI, twin brother, Paul Elieff (Tracy) of MI, and Steve Elieff (Becky) of MI; four grandchildren, Karissa, Jayden, Alyssa, and Joshua Jr., beloved mother in law, Maxine Anne Provost of Cape Coral; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Elieff.

Memorial Services will be held at5 pm,Friday, July 6, at Delta Enrichment Center,4538 Elizabeth Rd., Lansing, MI 48917, with Joe’s older brother, Pastor John Elieff, officiating.
