Julie A. Poff

August 31, 1975 - July 24, 2018

Julie Ann Poff, 42, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Cape Coral, FL, passed away Tuesday, July 24th, 2018. She was born August 31, 1975 in Naples, FL.

Julie was a graduate of North Fort Myers High School in 1993 as well as a graduate from Florida State University in 1997, where she was a cheerleader and Golden Girl dancer.

Julie will be remembered most for the love and devotion she had for her greatest accomplishment, her daughter Kayla. Kayla was Julie’s world and she was never prouder than when talking about Kayla’s many accomplishments as a golfer. Whether Junior golf, High School or College, Julie was always Kayla’s biggest cheerleader. Julie’s beautiful smile and larger than life personality always lit up a room and made everyone happy to be in her company. We will miss Julie during football season but now she has the best seat in the house to watch her beloved ‘Noles. Although we lost Julie at a young age, the family wishes to express that Julie passed in peace surrounded by her closest friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her loving parents, JoAnn Marie Poff of Cape Coral, FL and Donald Poff (Jackie) of Bonita Springs, FL; daughter, Kayla Poff of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Kristin Johnson (Brandon) of Cape Coral, FL and Amie Ward (Trey) of Fort Myers, FL; grandmother, Ann Morreale of North Fort Myers, FL; three nephews, Jordan, Drew, and Drew, IV; three nieces, Mia, Hailey, and Aubrey; as well as several aunts and uncles.

Julie was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Poff.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at11:00 am Monday, July 30th, 2018at St. Andrew Catholic Church,2628 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33904with Father Jan officiating. Interment to follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from4:00PM-7:00PMonSunday, July 29th, 2018at Mullins Memorial,3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916.
