Larry Garner Edwards, 82, a lifelong resident of Lee County, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 in Ft. Myers. He was born December 3, 1934 in Alva, Florida to Robert and Clara Edwards, now deceased.
Larry … A loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anita Edwards of Ft. Myers; four children, Rick Edwards (Vivian) of Georgia, “Jimbo” Edwards (Tracy) of Ft. Myers, Mark Edwards (Teresa) of Alva and Christina Kerner (Thomas) of Buckingham; twelve grandchildren as well as fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Ft. Myers, FL 33916. The Family will receive friends at 12 noon for a time of visitation up until the start of service.

Anita, I am so sorry of the passing of Larry. I just had been remembering how fortunate I was to of met you & Larry when I was a child. You both were the only people to of treated me with kindness, compassion, & felt that you both cared, You both are forever in my heart. Thank you both for giving me the opportunity to of been in your live, you made me believe that there’s good people in this life. I just wish I would of continued to have you both in my life.
