Manfred Erwin Post

Manfred Erwin Post, 78, a Lee County resident for the past 20 years, formerly of Germany, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in North Fort Myers. He was born on September 16, 1936 to Elfriede and Gerhardt Post in Gumbinnen, Germany.

Manfred’s passion for traveling took him and his family to all corners of the world. He enjoyed exploring different cultures and customs and always was eager to widen his horizons. Manfred was a family man who highly valued supporting his children to become successful in all avenues of life.

He is survived by two loving children, Anja Post (Trent Biggs) of Seattle, Washington and Matthias Post of Cape Coral, FL; as well as two grandchildren, Hannah and Lukas.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Germany.
