Robert L. May

Robert Lynn May, 61, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for the past nine years, formerly of Collierville, TN and Tampa, FL, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in Cape Coral. He was born August 1, 1956 in Granite City, IL to Homer and Bernice May, now deceased.

Robert was a member of McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers,FL. He was an auto technician/auto repair. He lovedhunting and fishing. His most enjoyment was spending time with his family and many friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Sheila E. May of Cape Coral; two loving daughters, Jessica Walker (Jeff) of Cape Coral and Heather Swindoll (David) of Collierville, TN; sister, Terrie Geiger of Wesley Chapel, FL, brother, Scott May (Madonna West) of Sedgewickville, MO, and brother in law, Norm Hitch of Wesley Chapel, FL; five grandchildren, Hunter, Skyler and Tyler (the twins), Gavin and Tanner; as well as Roxy, the dog.

Robert was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Hitch.

A Celebration of Life with Military Honors will be held 11:00 AM Sunday, June 10, 2018 at The Cape Coral Yacht Club Community Park, 5819 Driftwood Pkwy., Cape Coral, FL 33904.
