Sandra L Furney

Sandra L. Furney, 59, a Lehigh Acres resident since 1981, formerly of Racine, WI passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her residence. She was born April 1, 1957 in Racine, WI to Robert and Derelys (Ninedorf) Nelsen, now deceased.

Sandra was a loving and hardworking mother who always put others needs before her own. She was an avid reader and enjoyed preparing new recipes to cook for friends and family. She loved spending time outdoors and often on the water competing with her husband fishing. Sandra has been a devoted caregiver to her husband (Robin) for the last 12 years. The memories and values she taught her family will forever be remembered and words alone cannot even begin to express how much she is loved and missed.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Robin Furney of Lehigh Acres, FL, two sons, Jason (Sam) Bahrs of Cape Coral, FL and Justin Furney of Lehigh Acres, FL, one brother, Donnie (Lisa) Nelsen of Jacksonville, FL, as well as two grandchildren, Andrew and Alex Bahrs.
