Stephen W. Bogacz

Stephen Bogacz, 58, a Cape Coral, FL resident, formerly of the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 in Cape Coral, FL.

Steve was born in Rice Lake, WI to Sophie and Walter Bogacz. He graduated Rice Lake High School in 1977 and then attended University of Wisconsin from which he went on to have a magnificent life working for the airlines and finally as a biostatistician at Prime Therapeutics before his recent retirement. He loved travel, his wife and daughter, helping animals, watching airplanes and riding motorcycles with his family. He will be remembered as a good man that was compassionate, intelligent, strong, thoughtful, protective of his family, and the epitome of the American Dream.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Karen Bogacz; one daughter, Ashley Bogacz; his mother, Sophie Bogacz of Oviedo, FL; two sisters, Mary Zahler and Teresa Bogacz of Oviedo, FL; two brothers, Robert Bogacz of Oviedo, FL and Stanley Bogacz (Karen) of Deltona, FL and father-in-law, William Collins (Gail) of Spokane, WA.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Walter Bogacz and brother-in-law, Gary Zahler.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in 2018.
