Wilfredo Vera

Wilfredo Vera, 69, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL for the past four years, formerly of Orlando, FL and Sullivan County, NY, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 in Cape Coral. He was born December 10, 1948 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico.

Willy was a husband, father, brother and friend to all. He led his life with modesty and dignity. Willy will be remembered most for his generosity and the cheer he brought to each and every family gathering. He was a talented craftsman whose works remain as a testament to his skill and inventiveness. His warmth and hospitality will be forever remembered.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Irlanda Vera of North Fort Myers, FL; loving mother, Rosa Diaz of NJ; three loving children, Wilfredo Vera, Jr. (Suzanne) of Austin, TX, Alejandro Vera (Tabatha) of Long Island City, NY and Ricardo Vera (Martha) of Houston, TX; six sisters; two brothers; mother in law, Olga Hincapie of Fort Myers, FL and father in law, Alberto Ramirez of Colombia; five grandchildren, Robert, Olivia, Valentina, Maximilien and Camila.

Wilfredo was preceded in death by his father, Emilio Vera.

Memorial Services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the Hope Hospice Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Parkway E., Cape Coral, FL 33909.
