William “Byron” Eads

William “Byron” Eads, 62, a resident of FL for the past 25 years, formerly of Raleigh, NC, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born May 29, 1956 in Roanoke, VA.

Byron was a graduate of Freeman High School in Richmond, VA and shortly thereafter served four years in the United States Marine Corps with a tour in Japan. Byron spent his career as a salesman in the building industry from North Carolina to Florida. Byron loved to surf the waves and feel the wind in his face riding his Harley. We will all remember Byron for his loving heart, generosity and let’s ride spirit.

He is survived by his father, James W. Eads of VA; former wife, Tonia Beams of Cape Coral; daughter, Kaylee Beams and her fiancé, Brandon Sims of Cape Coral; sister, Susan Eads of Richmond, VA; as well as a host of friends.

Byron was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Eads in 2016.

Memorial Services with Marine Corps Military Honors will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916. The family will receive friends for A Time of Remembrance from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A Life Celebration Ride will commence immediately following services.
