Sheldon Olen Kingsley

March 8, 1968 - December 31, 2021

Sheldon Olen Kingsley, 53, a resident of Cape Coral for more than 30 years, formerly of Romeoville, IL, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 in Cape Coral. He was born March 8, 1968 in Naperville, IL.

Sheldon was well known for his wild spirit and care-free personality. He lived life one day at a time, and every day was truly an adventure for him. He lived life on his terms and his terms only. He loved chasing the wind and found the most peace on his blue 1998 Harley Davidson Dyna with the infamous green skull on the tank. Sheldon was well-known by so many people from all over. He spent many years of his life in Romeoville, IL where he grew up and created many memories with friends and family. Sheldon ultimately chose Cape Coral, FL as his final destination. He loved the life he created and surrounded himself around people that had become his family. Sheldon was a very righteous, and loyal man. His two greatest accomplishments are his children, who both love him very much. Sheldon taught his children lessons about life and loyalty, lessons that a classroom could never teach. Sheldon had many deep layers and within those layers laid wisdom beyond his years, and a heart with an abundance of love to share. Sheldon was well known for his mannerisms and infamous quotes. When he walked into a room, everyone knew he arrived. His laugh and sense of humor was infectious. Sheldon (Ghost) is so, very loved, and will truly be missed.ย  ย

He is survived by his mother, Betty Kingsley and sibling of Panama City, FL; children, Amanda Rivera (Jeremy), and Chance Kingsley of Cape Coral; as well as grandchildren, Katin, MaKaila and Maverick.

Sheldon was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lee Kingsley.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details to be announced via www.MullinsMemorial.com.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Sheldon Olen Kingsley are suggested to be made to the GoFundMe account in Sheldonโ€™s name at https://www.gofundme.com/f/SheldonKingsley.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

Aaaw man ๐Ÿ˜ฅ, what could I possibly ever say? I’m hurting inside deeply my friend and 2 wheeled brother. That’s a fact. I along with all your true friends miss you so terribly and love you beyond description. Not only will your friendship, good will, generosity, + true badass-ness not be forgotten, it’s an all consuming constant thought at the front of my mind as of late (obviously). Thank you for being my friend, and riding buddy. Gonna miss splitting lanes with the likes of big “GHOST”. The pleasure was all mine sir. With tears in my eyes I say, I love you shel. I’m gonna roast a tire & sign the street in your name. Cheers to you old man! Respect forever and Godspeed brother. ๐Ÿค˜ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

This is an absolutely beautiful obituary. Much love and thought was put into this.
It describes him just as I remember him. I knew him from home, (Romeoville, Il)
I don’t know who had the baddest van, he or me (lol)
Rest is peace Sheldon. This breaks my heart to learn of this.
