My heart goes out to Zander’s family. I met him at Shadyside hospital, when he was in for a stem cell transplant and my son just got diagnosed with ALL. He loved Pittsburgh so I bought him a couple souvenir’s. We have kept in touch over the years through Facebook since he moved back to Florida. He has a heart of gold! I am so sad to hear this.💔😓

Zander was an amazing man of God. I met him in middle school and we attended high school together as well. Over the current years we would share our passion for the Lord and always accept each other’s prayer request for the people we loved. He will be greatly missed. But I know that the Lord welcomed him with open arms. We will miss you my brother in Christ. Until we all meet again at heavens gates. May the Lord Bless you and keep you.

Blessings from his sister in Christ
    Natalie

I am saddened for everyone for this loss. Zander was one of my middle school English students. He loved music and was so talented. He was a good kid to have in class. Rest with Jesus, Zander.

My heart is heavy, my condolences to the family. My youngest son, Skyler spent more time with Zander and his family as a child in elementary school than he did at home with his own family; he enjoyed being with them so much. I always admired Zander’s sweet, sincere smile and his faith and love in Jesus. I respected him for many reasons but mostly because of his faith and he was quite zealous when speaking of the Lord! Zander was a special person and will be missed by many. Rest in Peace my friend.

Lauren, Robin, Randy, Haley & Lexi –
Our deepest condolences for your loss. Our hearts our broken and there really are no words to say how sorry we are.
Zander was awesome in every respect and we’re are thankful that we were lucky enough to share some great times with him. Remembering driving with a very young (6 years old) Zander and Randy to Cape Kennedy in the summer of 1993 to watch the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavor. And the time Zander caught the very first puck ever slapped into the crowd at the very first game of the Everblades! And very fondly remember travelling with Zander for his birthday trip to NYC and getting to share some fantastic memories with him. Our deepest prayers are with you.
