Anne M. Houghten
Anne M. Houghten, 91, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for the past 35 years, formerly of Frankenmuth, MI, and Rochester, MI went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 6, 2020 in Fort Myers. She was born December 24, 1928 in Farmington Township, MI to James and Anna Delavan, now deceased.
Anne was a great prayer warrior and a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers. She loved family and friends, reading and Bible study. Anne had a passion for playing bridge, tennis and golf, and scored 6 holes-in-one.
She is survived by four loving children, Charles Houghten (Jacqueline) of Brush Prairie, WA, Sally Holefca (Dennis) of Grand Rapids, MI, Jill Tapani (Rod) of Rochester Hills, MI, and David Houghten (Susan) of Orangevale, CA; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as one great great grandchild.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Houghten in 1997.
No formal services are planned at this time.
