Anthony “Tony” Patts
Anthony “Tony” Patts, 53, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2016, formerly of Hughesville, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 in Cape Coral. He was born January 10, 1967 in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Tony was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Cape Coral. He was most proud of his daughter, Samantha, serving in the U.S. Army (Desert Storm), being an avid fisherman, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was a graduate of Coughlin High School. He worked at the Lycoming County Fair for many years as a maintenance worker, Applebys Landscaping, and the VA Hospital of Cape Coral. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Hudson Servicemen’s Club.
He is survived by his loving mother, Almeda Patts of Cape Coral, FL; loving children, Samantha, Kyle, Travis (Ashley) and Tyler Patts; two siblings, Thomas Patts (Donna) of Hudson, PA and Almeda Appleby (Donny) of Cape Coral, FL; five grandchildren, Aiden, Clayton, Levi, Christian, and Colton Patts; as well as nieces, Almeda Grace and Ashley Appleby, nephew Zack Appleby, and lifelong best friend Shannon Welch.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Anthony V. Patts; as well as a brother, Richard Patts of Hudson, PA.
He will be remembered with a celebration of life at a later date in Hughesville, PA.
