Antonia Theresa Mirra

Antonia Theresa Mirra, 74, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1977, formerly of the Bronx, NY, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 in Cape Coral. She was born September 8, 1947 in the Bronx, NY to Anthony and Theresa Sansone, now deceased.

Antonia was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral. She graduated from Dodge High School, Bronx, New York. She met her lifelong best friend, her husband (Joseph Mirra) at the age of 14 and happily married September 11, 1965. Antonia was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother and loved them all dearly. she would make the kids Halloween costumes and baked her famous cheesecake every holiday! A great cook in her day and Sunday dinners a must, an Italian family tradition. She loved her family more than anything. Grandma Toni will be dearly missed every day.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Joseph Mirra, Jr. of Cape Coral; loving son, Joseph Mirra, III (Sallie) of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Joseph Mirra, IV, Michael Mirra, Amanda Mirra, and Antonio Mirra; as well as four great-grandchildren, Julissa Mirra, Javier Mirra, Joseph Mirra, V, and Yanez Wilson.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 10th, 2021 at Four Freedoms Park, 4818 Tarpon Court Cape Coral, FL 33904.

Monetary Contributions in memory of Antonia Theresa Mirra are suggested to go to Mullins Memorial, 1056 NE 7th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 339909.
