Barbara Vida VanRysseghem, 89, of Cape Coral, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021. No formal services are planned at this time. Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.
Barbara and I met as Girl Scout leaders. We shared an interest in art and belonged to the Progressive Artists Club. We we to the Detroit Symphony and Wayne State’s Hilberry Theater.
We enjoyed taking little trips like going to cider mills, wineries, Frankenmuth and historic spots with friends. She will be missed.
I will miss my wonderful friend. She was so compassionate and caring. She was a great listener and could always lift up your spirits. I will always remember our trips to Watervale in Northern Michigan. Those walks by the shores of Lake Michigan were priceless.
Her smiles would light up a room. I will never forget the wonderful times we spent together. You were a true artist. Rest in peace and God bless, dear friend.
