Barry Richard Sullivan

Barry Richard Sullivan, 78, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1985, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born October 20, 1943 in Walla Walla, WA to Richard and Edna Sullivan, now deceased.

Barry was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and dedicated employee of the City of Cape Coral who helped with overseeing the safety and regulatory aspects of the city as it continued to grow until his retirement in 2007. In his personal time, he loved to pursue his passion of metalworking, fabrication designs, and home improvement projects as directed by the love of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda (White) Sullivan of Cape Coral, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; children, Brian Sullivan (Karen) of Cape Coral and Brad Sullivan (Melissa) of Conroe, TX; siblings, CindySue Baumgartner of Sun City, AZ and Tim Sullivan of Moline, IL; nephews, Matthew and Michael; niece, Amanda; seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; as well as Thai and Aiko the cats, and Dolly the dog.

No formal services are planned at this time.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Barry Richard Sullivan are requested to go to the Republican Party.
