Bruce Alan Whitaker

Bruce Alan Whitaker, 55, a lifelong resident of Lee County, FL, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in St. James City. He was born March 3, 1966 in Fort Myers, FL to Barron Whitaker and Patricia Davenport, now deceased. Bruce was a graduate of North Fort Myers High School, class of 1984.

He was a beloved son, father, and Christian who attended Living Faith Church in Cape Coral, FL. Bruce was a gifted business man, who loved people and they loved him. He was passionate about his kids, football, motorcycles, milkshakes and other simple things in life. 

Bruce was married for 25 years to Denise Whitaker of Cape Coral. He is survived by five loving children, Tiffany Whitaker of Cape Coral, Casie Whitaker (Ricky Gomes) of St. James City, Kelsea Whitaker (Alexandra) of Cape Coral, Rikki Whitaker of Cape Coral, and Patrick Whitaker, also of Cape Coral; as well as a grandchild, Jasper Miller. He spent the last nine years of his life with his loving partner, Kelly Lipsher of Cape Coral. 

Bruce was preceded in death by two brothers, Shannon Whitaker and Tim Whitaker.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Living Faith Church, 939 SW 7th Court, Cape Coral, FL 33991 with Pastor Pat Thurmer officiating.
