Carmine Frank Yannie

September 26, 1960 - April 3, 2022

Carmine Frank Yannie, 61, a resident of Cape Coral and Fort Myers, FL for the past 30 years, formerly of Cranford, NJ, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022 in Fort Myers. He was born September 26, 1960 in Plainfield, NJ.

Carmine was of the Christian faith. He was a very loving husband, son, brother, brother-in-law and friend to many. Carmine had a deep love for the sea and was an avid boater and fisherman. He spent years working in the boat supply industry and later became a full-time bartender. He was an incredible cook and thoroughly enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for family and friends. He enjoyed spending vacations with his wife, Rose at their summer home on the mid coast of Maine.  Carmine loved driving his John Deere golf cart with a full-sized American flag waving off the back along with his four-legged emotion support companion, Bruno whom he adored.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Belfiore-Yannie of Fort Myers; father, Frank Yannie of Cranford, NJ; sister, Roseanne Kapetanakis (Michael) of Cranford, NJ; as well as a large and loving extended family. He will be dearly missed by his family and his many friends.

Carmine was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Yannie.

    Carmine and I weren’t close but I considered him a good friend an a good neighbor. He was very supportive of me in the last year, calling or texting regularly. I will miss talking with him.
    What a very nice guy.

    Carmine had a large heart and was a special man. Alex was very honored and thankful to have met him before he passed and greatly enjoyed his company. We will miss his Witt, big heart and of course amazing cooking. Rose we love you very much. I always looked up to you both as a wonderful couple of love and friendship. He will always be your love and friend in spirit. I bet he is up there playing checkers with Jesus learning new moves ❤️
