Carmine Joseph Serrago

January 11, 1956 - September 9, 2020

Carmine Joseph Serrago, 64, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for over 30 years, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born January 11, 1956 in Queens, NY.

Carmine was an entrepreneur starting and running three businesses in his lifetime. Best known for being one of the owners of KC’s River stop in Cape Coral Florida.  He’ll be remembered for his love of classic cars, westerns, his generosity, and a very unique sense of humor. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Marie Serrago of Cape Coral; two loving children, Joseph Serrago (Amanda) of Fort Myers, and Tim Serrago of Cape Coral; six siblings, Gary Serrago of Cape Coral, Michael Serrago of Cape Coral, Anthony Serrago of Cape Coral, Guy Serrago (Darlene) of Bradenton, FL, Jimmy Serrago of Cape Coral, and Maria Decristan (Matt) of PA; one grandson, Gregory; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Carmine was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Thomas Serrago; as well as his ex wife and business partner, Elizabeth (Betty) Serrago. 

Services will be private and limited to family. 

Memorial Contributions in memory of Carmine Joseph Serrago are suggested to the Gulfcoast Humane Society, 2010 Arcadia Street Ft Myers FL 33916 .

The family would also like to acknowledge the nurses and staff of HealthPark hospital; Who did their best to keep Carmine comfortable and allowed him to pass with dignity.
