Carol Ann Lewis

October 15, 1945 - December 20, 2019

Carol Ann Lewis, 74, a resident of Fort Myers, FL for the past 25 years, formerly of Liberty, OH, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 in Fort Myers, surrounded by family. She was born October 15, 1945 in Hubbard, OH to Robert and Audrey (O’Bruba) Lewis, now deceased.

Carol was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Cecilias in Fort Myers. She worked at Packard Electric in OH and then at Office Max and Staples in Fort Myers, FL. Carol graduated from Hubbard High-School, OH in 1962 where she was a cheerleader and played the accordion.  She grew up on the Lewis-Siefert family farm and has always loved animals – from riding bareback on her horse “Smokey” to caring for her several dogs, with her favorite being “Mishka” the Husky.  Carol enjoyed dancing and listening to old Elton John records.  Baking apple pies and brownies that were sure to have chopped walnuts on top, were some favorite treats as a Mom.  She embraced the technology of computers and electronic gadgets, where she loved to design and send holiday & special occasion cards to her entire family.  Our Mom / Sis would do anything for her family and would give you the shirt off her back.  She was a real doll.

Ms. Lewis is survived by four loving children, Bryon Anzevino (Kim) of Sharpsville, PA, Greg Anzevino (Dina) of Hudson, OH, Darren Anzevino (Lynn) of Milford, OH, Jeff Anzevino (Marilyn) of Hudson, OH; and two brothers, John Lewis (Cheryl) of Jacksonville, FL, and Glenn Lewis of Fort Myers, FL; as well as ten grandchildren, Cody, Cameron, Evan, Yianni, Audra, Nate, Anthony, Leo, Anna, and Ella.

Ms. Lewis was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Bib” Lewis; and a sister in law, Patricia “Patty” Lewis.

Calling hours will be 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home, 1090 East State Street, Sharon, PA 16146. (724) 347-7575

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.

No one could ask for a better big sister. She was always cheerful and willing to help with any task. There was no better place to spend Christmas than with my brothers and sister. She is gone to soon and will leave a large empty space in my heart. God’s blessing be with you my loving sister Carol.

I wan’t to send my sympathy on the passing of your mother, Carol.
