Carol Janette Williamson

April 10, 1947 - July 18, 2021

Carol Janette Williamson, 74, a resident of Cape Coral, FL for a short time, formerly of Columbus, OH, passed Sunday, July 18, 2021 in Cape Coral.  She was born April 10, 1947 in Galion, OH to Cecil and Georgia Amick, now deceased.

Carol was of the Christian faith.  She grew up in Galion, Ohio and after high school went on to Ohio State Beauty Academy when beehives and big hair were in. She spent the last 30 years as an Executive Assistant until she retired in 2019. Carol was very crafty, great at DIY projects, and was an artist which she passed on to both Eric and Shannon. They will both always remember all the handmade costumes for events and trying to keep the spirit of Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny alive for as long as she could. She was an avid reader of Danielle Steel novels, collector of buttons of all kinds, could sew or crochet just about anything, loved going thrifting and always had a garden growing. She was the mom to all of her kids friends and would lend a hand to anyone who needed it. She taught her kids to be kind to others, to be strong and to stand up for what they believe in. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her three loving children, Eric Williamson of Columbus, OH, Shannon Zelko (Michael) of Cape Coral, FL and Kevin Foltz (Leanna) of Buckeye Lake, OH; one sister, LaDonna Myers of Colorado Springs, Co; as well as four grandchildren, Dylan Williamson, Henry Williamson, Kaleb Foltz, and Kody Foltz

No formal services are planned at this time.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

So many memories and laughs come to my mind when I think of “mom”. I was one of those friends that spent many days at her house. Her smile and laughter was contagious. She will be missed. Sending lots of love and prayers to her family. Until we meet again.
