Carson Matthew Patrick, 12, a Cape Coral, Florida resident for the last nine years, formerly of Blue Springs, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in Cape Coral. He was born August 18, 2012, in Tacoma, Washington.
Carson had a love for cars, motorcycles, fishing, and football—especially cheering on his beloved Miami Dolphins and Cape Youth Storms. Whether he was casting a line, lending a hand on the field, or chatting about engines and horsepower, his passion was truly inspiring. He was finishing up seventh grade at Gulf Middle School and eagerly looking forward to the year ahead, surrounded by friends and classmates.
He is survived by his loving mother, Brandi Patrick of Cape Coral; three amazing siblings, Kyli, Braelin and Chris Patrick, Jr., all of Cape Coral; paternal grandparents, David Patrick and wife Joanne of Lone Jack, MO and Linda Connor of Buckner, MO; maternal grandparents, Carolyn Shiner and husband Mark of Cape Coral and Joe Lay and wife Tammie of Independence, MO; Godparents, George and Charlene Perno also of Cape Coral; five aunts; a host of cousins; as well as his buddies, LT and Remi the dogs and Reese and Athena the cats.
Carson lost his beloved father, Christopher Patrick, on June 3rd , 2025.
A joint memorial service for Carson and his father will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Gulf Middle School Multi-Purpose Room, 1809 SW 36th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33914. Doors open at 10:30. The family will receive friends after the service until 1:00 pm. It is requested that friends and loved ones show their support by wearing teal or orange.
