I am so sorry for this great loss of a beautiful and kind person.
The wonderful memories of Cassie that our family shared over many years of friendship will remain in my heart always, especially, watching our girls growing up. I am remembering all the special h.s. times, the dance classes, leaving for college, getting careers, and having their own families.
Sending Love and Peace to her daughter, Hannah, and her parents, and all of the family.
    I love you Cassie,
    Janet Dunning

I am so sad to hear the news of Cassie’s passing. I’ve known Cassie since kindergarten, and as a neighborhood friend, she and I created a lot of memories together. Spending time with Cassie, meant laughing so hard your stomach hurt.
Although I haven’t talked to Cassie in many years, she’s the type of friend where you could just pick up where you left off without skipping a beat!! I am praying for Cassie and all of those who loved her. ~ Rest in peace my friend ~

I found out today, that you had passed away. Now I am sad! I came in and out of your life for a very short time three years ago. A time where I was not at my best and it affected… I still have the picture of us when we went out for dinner. and I’ll never forget you helping me when I cut my hand on a glass. You are a diamond in the rough and although I knew it, I could not see it then. I recently came back to Cape Coral and your name had been heavy on my mind. Though I was not sure why I suspect the angels were telling me why this whole time. You see I moved back here October 1 and you died October 5. I just want so badly to speak to you one more time and say I am sorry for how I was. Sorry for treating you poorly. I’ll take this heavy heart to my grave now and ask God to forgive me. I am sorry Cassie. I hope every day in heaven you are always trying new foods and enjoying the sunset from the top of beautiful clouds. Rest in peace Cassie.

I only knew Cassie for a little over a year. She was SO precious to me. We shared many good times and DELICIOUS meals together. I remember meeting her dad when he visited Cape Coral. I want to thank everyone who shared their memories here. It helps me to remember all of the good times I shared with her. Rest in peace 💘🙏

I’m Elizabeth and am from Georgia, I found out about Cassie’s passing last October as I was awaiting for her to call me to let me know she had made her move safely. I did not hear from her and decided to call without any response. I went to her page and was in disbelief by what I had just seen and read! My heart sank and was heartbroken and thought this could not be true! Not my Cassie whom I had just talk to a few weeks earlier.
He talked so much and she always had me laughing especially with her word ‘etc…’ I told her you really creep me out with that and do you know who says that?? She ask who? I said the guy who plays on ‘Split’ he always says ‘etc’… and she would laugh and saw Elizabeth you’re just a hoot!! We would have the most fun talking and especially about our daughters whom we both loved dearly… I so miss our daily talks and laughter and my dose of Cassie was always my pick me up! I love you my dear friend and miss you that much more! Heaven gained a beautiful and lovely Angel and one day I’ll see you again! May you memory always forever be a blessing 🙏…. love you Cassie Bug! And love Hannah too!!
