Cecil Timothy Stancel, Jr., 86, a lifelong resident of Fort Myers, FL, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 in Fort Myers. He was born April 2, 1933 in Miami, FL to Cecil and Martha Stancel, Sr., now deceased.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 67 years, Betty Stancel of Fort Myers; four loving children, Rhonda Sewell (Blake) of Cape Coral, Rene Youngquist (Harvey) of Estero, FL, Joy Stancel of Anchorage, AK, and Regina Stancel of Fort Myers; eight grandchildren; as well as twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Mullins Memorial, 3654 Palm Beach Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33916 with Rev. Todd Graham officiating. Committal Services to follow at Fort Myers Cemetery, 3200 Michigan Ave., Fort Myers, FL 33916.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.

    So sorry to hear about Cecils passing. He was a great man and a wonderful neighbor and friend to us here in Tennessee. I will always remember him. He is now talking everything over with my Dad with that big smile.

    I had no idea till today. Such a fine man with a loving wife. and family!! May God give you all comfort, strength and peace. My prayers are with you all especially Betty, one of the sweetest, Godly ladies I have ever known. In God’s Love, Bert and Carol Williams.
