Charles “Hank” Henry Stumpf

Charles “Hank” Henry Stumpf, 87, a resident of Cape Coral since 1995, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Cape Coral. He was born April 7, 1928 in New Haven, CT to Hans and Louise Stumpf, now deceased.

Hank has worked as an engineer for most of his life. He loved flying model airplanes and performing stunts. He began taking flying lessons at the age of 70, which is when he received his license. Hank was loved by many and will be missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Lillian Stumpf of Cape Coral; four loving children, Alice De Canio (Gary) of East Sautakit, NY, Martin Fainer (Ann) of Cape Coral, Eric Fainer (Lorraine) of SW Ranches, FL, and Gregory Fainer (Linda) of Seaford, NY; eleven grandchildren; as well as five great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Family’s Residence.
