Clarence English, 80, a resident of Lehigh Acres, FL for the past 36 years, formerly of Bedford Heights, OH passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 in Lehigh Acres. He was born August 26, 1936 in Anniston, AL to Robert and Lilly, now deceased.
Clarence was former owner-operator of The Cottage Restaurant & Truckstop in Richfield before moving to FL.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Gale English; six children, Lindy Hunt, Clarence English, Jr., Darlene Lomax, Erick English, Dana English-Clark (Richard), Leslie Chandler (Shamel); five siblings, Walter English, Sylvester (Sylvia)White, Savannah (Rocky) English (Ann), Rev. Pequer (P.Q.) English (Ida), Carmella Miller (James); fifteen grandchildren, Michelle, Jamel, Sara, Paris, Tamiko, Justin, Jamilla, Aimee, Antoinette, Sierra, Adrian, Tore, Sable, Bianca & Nicole; as well as 14 great grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by a son, Michael English; as well as six siblings, Nora Parks, Blanche Motley, Rev. Ollie English, Ruby Reid, John English, and Harvey English.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Affinity Baptist Church, 4411 East 175th Street, Cleveland, OH 44128.
