Crystal Lucinda (Lewis) Brock

Crystal Lucinda (Lewis) Brock, 34, who lived most of her life in Lee County, FL, and some in Ocala, FL, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020. She was born in Fort Myers, FL on October 1, 1986.

Crystal was of the Christian faith. She had a passionate heart for helping others any way she could, be it human or animal. She never met a stranger. She loved unconditionally. She’d share whatever she had with those in need. She didn’t judge people by their appearance or living conditions. She only saw the good in their souls. She was often found having lively conversations, spreading her infectious laugh and a smile that warmed the heart. Periodically she volunteered at various soup kitchens, Women’s House, and homeless shelters as well as animal shelters. She had a special gift with animals. Her insatiable curiosity drove her from an early age to become very well self-educated about nature, the environment, nutrition, natural health care and mental illness. Despite having a debilitating mental illness, she earned a college degree online as a medical billing and coder. She was very independent and resourceful. As such, she had an array of experience, from restaurant work to construction, kennel-animal care, sales, to doing routine auto maintenance and home repairs.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Wayne and Brenda Lewis of Ocala; three wonderful children, Arianna Lewis, Hannah Howard, and Micah Christopher Gingrasso and their respective loving families; two brothers, Joshua Snider (Blair) of Fort Myers, and Devin Lewis of Lehigh Acres, FL; as well as her maternal grandmother, Norma Berry; special nephew, Wade Heckman; long time dear friend, Warren Rivera; as well as many more family and friends.

A butterfly’s life is short… but what an amazing gift from god to us! May you now rest in god’s loving arms. Forever, mom’s “Sweet Pea” and daddy’s “little girl”.
