Dale Alexander Brown

January 31, 1972 - June 15, 2015

Dale Alexander Brown, 43, a proud Florida native, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 in Cape Coral. He was born January 31, 1972 in Fort Myers.

Dale had many adventurous and noteworthy jobs, but his passion in life was performing on stage in front of his fans. As the lead singer of the Blackwater Band, Dale opened for many nationally recognized recording artists and headlined many venues in the Fort Myers area. Dale’s voice would fill the room and people’s hearts. Dale was happy singing to 5 or 5,000 and would always give a warm smile and sincere appreciation to the fans he loved. He used the gift of his voice to inform and educate everyone he could about Melanoma and the dangers of the sun. He was loved and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kristy M. Brown of Cape Coral; loving parents, Don and Johnnie Brown of Greensboro, NC; loving mother, Rachel Lee Hubble (Carl) of MI; four sons, Dominik Brown (Tori) of Mobile, AL, Airman 1st Class, Kole Koontz (Olivia) of Goldsboro, NC, Korey Potts of Cape Coral, and Kason Potts, also of Cape Coral; brother, Billy Waddell of Cape Coral; mother and father in law, Charles and Betty Martin of Avon Park; as well as two brothers in law, Adam Martin (Amy) of Avon Park, and Justin Martin (Liz) of Bartow; and many loved nieces and nephews.
