David Horacio Ayala

December 13, 1978 - August 7, 2022

David Horacio Ayala, 43, a lifelong resident of North Fort Myers, FL, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born December 13, 1978 in Immokalee, FL.

David was of the Baptist faith. David had Down Syndrome and attended the Adult Day Training Program, Community Resource Network for many years. David had many friends and enjoyed being in his community whether it was watching the planes land at the airport, playing baseball with the Tri-County Baseball Organization, or going out to eat. David loved being around people. David’s smile and laughter was contagious wherever he was. David loved being the center of attention and always would make a joke when he was in a group of people. David was a compassionate and loving person who would always want to help anyone he saw that was in need. David’s hobbies included airplanes, scary movies, SpongeBob SquarePants, and enjoying all  kinds of food (especially burgers and pizza). David was an amazing Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend.

David is survived by his loving parents, Joseph and Polly Murch of North Fort Myers; five siblings, Amaya Murch, Analiyah Murch, Vicki Hellard, Matthew Bracewell, and Peter Banner, all of North Fort Myers; as well as a nephew, Kayden Hellard, also of North Fort Myers.

A Celebration of life will be held from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Community Resource Network LSP, 12741 World Plaza Lane, Building 84, Ft. Myers, FL 33907.

    My heart is saddened to hear that David passed. He had such a loving life with his parents, family and special friends. I know he has no pain and is free now with the Angels and our Lord.
