Deborah “Debi” Jean Vannoy Fields
Deborah Jean Vannoy Fields, 66 years old
With her family by her side, Debi Fields, 66, of Zephyrhills, FL, died on June 8, 2020, at the Rucki Hospice House in Zephyrhills, FL after many years of significant health issues.
Debi was born on September 5, 1953 to Ruth and Daniel Vannoy in Charleston, WV.
Debi was a strong and faithful woman of God. She devoted her life to serving others and her family. She was a prayer warrior. Many came to Debi for her thoughtful and compassionate prayers that she would lift to the Lord. She had an amazing way of making others feel they were the most important person to her, and she would intercede in prayer for them often.
Debi was a passionately devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend and so much more. She and Richard grew up together in the same neighborhood. These longtime friends finally married on July 16, 1971. They had 2 daughters, Michelle Myers, and Heather Messer. Nothing pleased Debi more than to be surrounded by her family. Both daughters blessed Debi and Richard with 4 grandchildren, in which she had a special name for each one. Ambrielle, “my sweetie”, Alexander, “my little man”, Andrew, “sweet precious boy” & Myia “Na-nah’s girl”. She loved them more than life itself.
Debi is survived by her husband, Richard Fields in Zephyrhills Fl; her daughters, Michelle Myers (Ronald), & Heather Messer; her mother Ruth Vannoy Serino; her brothers Daniel & Rick Vannoy; and her grandchildren, Ambrielle Myers, Alexander Messer, Andrew Messer & Myia Myers. In addition, there are many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends from around the world.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020; 1:00 pm at Crossings Community Church, 514 Walden View Drive, Sanford, FL 32771.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a special donation to Helping Hands in Motion, www.helpinghandsinmotion.org; with anticipation of building a church in honor of Debi. Should you have questions, please contact Richard at (863)-255-1339.

Debi, had the most unique sweetness and love in her heart she glowed with the love of Jesus within her. I remember Aunt Ruth and Uncle Daniel bringing her into our homeas a child, I was six years old when she was born, they visited often loved seeing them come with Danny and the Debi. Have so many memories of Debi growing up Years later, We would chat on Faceboo, she would cheer me up when I was down and compliment and cheer me on when we had any special occasion here back home. Will miss Debi I will join her again in our eternal home along with so many others in our beautiful family. Prayers to Richard, Daughters Grandchildren, Aunt Ruth, Danny and Rick. God be with each of you in this time of sorrow.
My friendship with Debi goes back to elementary school. She was a gracious lady and loyal friend. We spent a lovely day together when I lived in Oklahoma. My thoughts and prayers are with Richard and the rest of her family. God be with you till we meet again.

My husband’s and my path crossed Bro. Richard’s many times due to our passion for mission service. The one quality I noticed about Debi was her submission to the Lord’s business in her husband’s life. She was a very generous woman with the man she loved for the sake of her Lord whom she is with for all eternity. You will be missed, dear sister-in-the-Lord.
