Donavan Lee Meeks

Donavan Lee Meeks, 22, formerly of Charlotte, NC and a resident of Ft. Myers, FL for most of his life, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 in Ft. Myers. He was born April 7, 1993 in Ft. Myers.

Donavan was of the Christian faith and was a 2011 graduate of Vance High School, Charlotte, NC.

He is survived by his beloved father, Harold Watson of Ft. Myers; his mother, Brenda Meeks Robinson of North Carolina; four siblings, Justin Allen and wife Monique of Cape Coral, FL, Demetrie Allen of Ft. Myers, Brieanna McCall of Brevard, NC and Aleena Watson of Naples, FL; maternal grandmother, Kim Smith also of NC; three uncles, Daryl, Jimmy and Jason; three aunts, Belinda, Nia and Tameika; as well as five nieces and nephews, Koda, Angelina, Demetrie Jr., Hezekiah and Khaza.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:30AM Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the First Christian Church, 2620 Country Club Blvd., Cape Coral, FL 33904 with Pastor Gary Jones officiating. A reception will follow at the Jason Verdow Park, Cape Coral.
