Donna Jean St. Pierre

Donna Jean St. Pierre, 74, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1970, formerly of Milport, NY, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022 in Cape Coral. She was born November 7, 1947 in Waynesboro, PA to Frank Bakner and Geneva Bakner, now deceased.

Donna was of the Catholic faith. She graduated from Auburndale H.S, and then attended Edison Community College where she graduated with her RN degree in nursing.  Donna then started working for Lee Memorial Hospital.  After her children graduated high school she went back to college to change her career path and received her Education Degree.  Donna taught 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade until her retirement in 2011 from Pelican Elementary.  After her retirement Donna and Rene traveled in their RV and camped all around the USA.  Donna is remembered as fun loving, kind, and an animal lover.  Donna deeply loved playing and spending time with her grandchildren.  She also liked to sew her own clothes, gamble and cook special family dinners.  Her entire family and friends will miss her terribly but will rejoice in all the smiles and happy memories she has left behind. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Rene St. Pierre of Cape Coral; children, Melissa De Guspie (Tim) of Tampa, FL, and Michael St. Pierre (Misti) of Cape Coral, FL; sister, Debra Quigley of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Marc, Dylan, Aubrey, and Hunter; as well as Traver the Dog.
