Douglas Leonard James Harris

March 11, 1977 - April 30, 2022

Douglas Leonard James Harris, 45, a resident of Lehigh Acres for the past three years, formerly of New Philadelphia, OH, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Fort Myers. He was born March 11, 1977 in Paterson, NJ.

He was and always will be my first born. I wish he could of beat his demons that he made a point to tell me every time I seen him. 16 hours of labor and finally gave birth alone. I will always love you unconditionally Doug and every day you will be in my heart. Love Mom.

He is survived by his loving parents, Leonard Harris of Lehigh Acres, and Geraldine Spriggs (Neil), also of Lehigh Acres; brothers, Shaun Harris (Kimberly) of Lehigh Acres, and Richard Harris, also of Lehigh Acres; as well as two nephews and one niece, Christopher, Shaun, and Liberty.

No formal services are planned at this time.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fort Myers, is entrusted with final care.

    I miss you my sweet angel you will have my heart for the rest of your days you took my eternal love as you were my 3rd love my unexpected my last love. and now I don’t know what to do by myself!!! You took my heart and soul with you my king! Why did this have to happen t someone who made my world so great!!!!!! Please come home please! I love you and I am so sorry to his family for the pain and suffering this is causing. Just know he was an amazing addition to our little family and was loved so much it hurt to find this out!
