I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Amal Das. I have many memories of spending time in his home with Kathy
    (Lucas) Law.
I also worked with Amal at Howard Community Hospital. I have fond memories of him and his patients. He was a well respected physician who was always very “honest” with his patients. especially regarding their weight.
My deepest sympathy with Betty and the family during this difficult time.

Dr Das was my children’s physician for several years, and mine. He was straight forward, no joking, serious about his patients. They don’t make too many trust worthy Drs like Dr Das any more in my opinion.
