Dustin Allen Lehan

August 12, 1979 - July 17, 2020

Dustin Allen Lehan, 40, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL, formerly of MI, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020. He was born August 12, 1979 in Muskegon, MI to Joseph and Vickie Lehan, Jr., now deceased.

Dustin loved and was loved fiercely by his family. He was a beautiful person whose light and love was devoted and poured without limit. He was a companion, lover, father, teacher, soul mate, and supporter. He was free spirited with a vast knowledge of many trades. If anyone needed anything or had a question he was the man to ask. He would go above and beyond to help anyone where there was a need.

His children describe him as the “greatest, most loving, and hardest working” man. Dustin devoted his time and energy to his family, to ensure their happiness and to make sure they had a great life. He shared many life experiences with his kids. He spent countless hours with them, supporting them in any of their endeavors, and cheering them on at every game and practice. He raised his children with a sense of self and to know what was right. He taught his sons what it means to be man and a Lehan. He was their hero and greatest man they knew and will ever know.

Dustin lived his life as an example for his children of what a loving father, husband, and friend was. He always expressed his love to them no matter what ups and downs they came across. They never doubted his love.

Dustin pursued his dreams and accomplished so much, even beyond his own expectations for himself. He lived life with a great appreciation for the small things and shared that love with his family. He could see potential where many saw challenges and could turn broken into beautiful.

Dustin will be loved and missed everyday by all those who knew him. He will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 9 years, Christina Sexton Lehan of North Fort Myers; three loving children, Darrius Lehan of Colorado Springs, CO, Jasseri Lehan of Ludington, MI, and Keely Sexton of North Fort Myers; as well as a sister, Alisha Springer (Bruce) of Muskegon, MI.

No public services are planned.

Sending prayers & peace out to
    Christina, Keely, Darrius & Jasseri.
I had the great pleasure of reconnecting with Dustin four years ago. We would talk on the phone two or sometimes three times a week. Before this, I only remembered him as a little kid..
What a great guy Dustin grew into being.. He would go out of his way to lend a hand and share his knowledge with others.
Dustin was not a jack of all trades, he was a master of all trades. He will truly me missed…
