Da Papa is our hero.  He was always there through life’s trials and celebrations.  Papa gave us courage and believed in us to pursue and follow our dreams.

Papa is known for his strong and passionate devotion to his family and friends, his love for music, teaching his grand and great grandchildren to swim, his talent for making the best fried eggplant and fig jam and talking with his hands.  He has touched so many lives in so many ways.  The footprints and memories Emanuel has left are a precious gift and will be treasured endlessly.

Manny was a great of mine for almost 50 years. Spent many cold nights in the early years drinking beer in underground tunnels when he was in the tunneling business. Will always cherish the nights on my way home from work stopping by Citywide for a few beers and conversation
    RIP my good friend!

Manny, I learned this Very sad news just yesterday, and my heart felt sympathy goes out to your loving wife, Eileen Divito Valentino, your two loving daughters and the many grandchildren left behind, your sister Carol Valentino Murphy, and brothers Lenny & Dennis Ralph Valentino! So many loving memories from our early days in River Grove, IL to the horses in Warrenville, IL, your long career in the Construction industry, from your early days helping Uncle Joe in Florida, to your years with Uncle Rocky in Chicago, My brother Al has told me, of the Glen Ellen days, you were always ready to help he and his wife Karen, with projects they had on their home when they relocated back in the Chicago suburbs. He has only great memories of years spent with you! You were so popular with all of your cousins, a handsome young man, the comments were always positive, from your Harley to your motorboat you enjoyed your toys! Aunt Carm & Uncle Joe always had a special place in their hearts for you! Your dad was a wonderful uncle to me, I would work in the store in the Summer’s, and he always gave me guidance, after my dad’s untimely death, he was a model male figure, hard worker in business, and always drove a sharp Caddy, He told me “Think big, be big” aim high in life! I know you had many talents, but you could impress with your cooking skills, your young brother Ralph followed in your footsteps! Rest In Peace cousin, your journey on earth may have been full of memories, but your spirit lives on!
