Eunice Renee Wallis

Eunice ‘Renee’ Wallis, 68, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1961, formerly from Canton, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, in Fort Myers. She was born April 19, 1954 in Canton, Ohio to Joseph Herod and Corinne Edith Wallis, now deceased. Renee was also preceded in death by her younger sister, Hollie Ann Wallis. She will be laid to rest at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery with her family.  

Renee was a Jehovah Witness and attended the Kingdom Hall. She graduated from Fort Myers High School and the University of South Florida, where she studied nursing. She spent the majority of her career working as an RN at Lee Memorial Health System. Everyone that knew Renee knew her as a soft-spoken and very loving soul. She cared for her entire family, especially her father and sister. Her wonderful smile and beautiful disposition will be greatly missed.  

She is survived by her loving aunt, Dorothea Jones of Canton, Ohio; as well as her cousins, Kim Smith(Jones), Kathy Strohm (Jones), Noelle Rao, Leila Rao, Diane Midcap (Russell), and Chuck Russell.
