Florence Ann Bett

Florence Ann Bett, 72, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 1987, formerly of Merrick, NY, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in Fort Myers. She was born August 18, 1948 in New Rochelle, NY to Anthony and Florence Sotallaro, now deceased.

Florence was a member of Cape Baptist Church in Cape Coral. If you knew her you knew she was passionate about many things; her country, The Yankees, making every one of her grandson’s baseball games, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, her Italian heritage, the food she ate, her faith, friends, and mostly her family. She was very proud of all of her children, their spouses and her grandchildren. Although her life was cut short, the life she did live was good and full.

She is survived by five loving children, Pete Field and his girlfriend, Gina Ronga, Cynthia Field Torcasso (Joseph) of Mooresville, NC, Stephen Field (Sharon) of Cape Coral, Robert Bett (Heather) of Mooresville, NC, and Corey Bett of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY; brother, Anthony Sotallaro (Maryann) of Boynton Beach, FL; niece, Michele Hurtado (Gabe) of Boynton Beach; six grandchildren, Austin, Jacob, Kaitlyn, A.J., James and Lartzon; as well as Chloe, the cat.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Cape Baptist Church, 435 SE 10th Terrace, Cape Coral, FL 33990 with Pastor Rod Holler officiating.

Memorial Contributions in memory of Florence Ann Bett are suggested to Cape Coral Baptist Church.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

I know you are with God and will always be watching over the kids and cheering the Grandkids through each and every one of life’s achievements.
