Frank was a very gregarious and compassionate person. He was always willing to help those veterans in need. Surge has the Cape Coral chapter of the Disabled American Veterans as commander. And he was a very good friend.

There are no words in the human language to express or truly provide for the loss of Frank Antos Jr. ( My Uncle). I have such fond memories of uncle Frankie. I will miss our phone calls. He was always quick with a joke or kind words. I honestly believe he was a man that wanted to make people happy; always reaching out to loved ones just to check in: “ Hey chickadee it’s me”. He not only was a proud veteran. But he also selflessly served almost 40 years of faith;for he was always a very spiritual man. He faith from weekly mass, ushering, and being a Fourth Degree (most prestigious degree within) of the Knights of Columbus. It’s the highest level a Knight can become. How like Uncle Frankie for he was dedicated to the service of God, country and the Order, plus he cared for and loved. GREAT THINGS HAVE BEEN DONE FOR LOVE OF COUNTRY. THE GREATEST THINGS HAVE BEEN DONE FOR LOVE OF FAMILY, COUNTRY, AND GOD. Heaven will rejoice, yet the world is …Less for having him not in it. My love in my prayers to God for your comfort and blessing. He is a man to remember

While not technically my uncle, he was Uncle Frank to me. Perhaps the most easy person ever to have a conversation with. Just give him a topic (or he would have one) and let him loose! A great story for every occasion and an intelligent holder of family history that he shared. It wasn’t only family history. Frank had a perspective for those many conversations that made you think, laugh and appreciate. The world is a bit more sad with the loss of this kind soul. Rest in peace and look after us until we meet again.

Frank made us laugh and we so enjoyed hanging out at the “Big Smoke” in Vegas. We loved the way he strategized cigar collection to maximize four people to collect the best and most cigars. May you Rest In Peace!

The best pirate we’ve ever known, may he rest in eternal peace. People talk about what a great man our great uncle Frankie was.  As boys, we first remembered him wearing an eye patch, Noticing we were fearful, he quickly informed us he was a pirate.  Now at the age of 5, there could be NOTHING COOLER or even better.  He’s a pirate!  Uncle Frank gave each of us a patch to wear over our eye. Uncle Frank told us his adventures of his sails across the sea.  Now we weren’t frighten he was a story book come to life! Rest In Peace Uncle Frank (Aka Short Frank Gold)

My deepest sympathy to family and friends. Sorry I wasn’t at the memorial service but I didn’t get told till the day after. I only knew Frank for 5 years, but in that time I learned to love and respect him. He was always trying to help people. So I guess I am the unfortunate one. Will never forget you but in time I will heal. Thanks for being my friend.

Frank Antos gave me a job when no one else would back around 1987. When my husband retired from the army, he also gave him a job around 1989. He even gave our daughter a summer job during school vacations.
He was a very kind person and fair.
His son taught my husband how to print and we went on to open our own printing business because of the start given us by Frank. We had never had a business and this suited us well.
    Thank you Frank.
We will miss you and I guess seeing you at Burger King now is out too. But… We will think of you every time we go there.
