Frank Dennis Adamske
Frank Dennis Adamske, 79, a resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2017, formerly of Manchester, NH, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born March 12, 1942 in Baraboo, WI to Frank and Fern Adamske, now deceased.
Frank was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in North Fort Myers, FL. Frank went to St. Joseph grade school and graduated from Baraboo High School in 1960. He attended Marquette University and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in zoology and chemistry. He began his career working at badger Army Ammunition Plant, managing a nitro glycerin chemistry lab. He and Judy moved to Burlington, VT in 1968 where he worked for General Electric in the Defense Division. There he worked in quality control, and marketing. He also taught courses for college credit in Effective Listening and Effective Presentation. In 1986 the family moved to Pittsfield, MA where he was instrumental in securing a defense contract for GE. In 1989, Frank took a position is business development with Lockheed Sanders Corporation in Manchester, NH for a short time. He transitioned in 1991 to work with IDS in financial planning and finally started his own financial planning business in New Hampshire.
Frank had many interests. Besides being an avid outdoors man, loving hunting, fishing, sailing and golf, he also loved playing chess, developed his own photographs, and made jewelry for friends and family. He and Judy were in service to the church and were involved for many years as presenters on the Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekends to make good marriages great. They also worked with engaged couples to prepare them for their marriage.
Frank was the most loving and patient husband and dad. His generosity knew no bounds. His thoughtful ways, gentle demeanor, humor and affirming, optimistic character, will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He never knew a stranger. His loving, outgoing, personality was shared with everyone he met. If you knew him, you knew you were valuable; you knew your worth.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Judy Adamske of Cape Coral; four loving children, Johnelle Keck (Michael) of Canandaigua, NY, Jacquelyn Bombardier (Michael) of Grand Isle, VT, Mark Adamske (Heather) of Windham, NH, and Jeanne Adamske (Christopher Buol) of Fairview Heights, IL; siblings, Carol King of VA, and Paul Adamske (Sherri) of Spokane, WA; sister-in-law, Rachel Adamske of CA; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by a son, Paul Michael Adamske; as well as a brother, Michael Adamske.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 31, 2022 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 20115 N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, FL 33903 with Father Jan officiating.
