Gail Kemmler Ciolino

April 30, 1939 - October 7, 2019

Gail Kemmler Ciolino 80, a resident of Lee County since 1974, formerly from Queens, NY passed away on October 7, 2019 surrounded by her children. She was born on April 30,1939 to George and Anna Kemmler.

Gail was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church.  She retired from the US Postal Service and began volunteering her time at Gulf Coast Hospital.  She loved to travel, especially loved cruising. 

She is survived by her two children, Michael Ciolino (Carrie) of Cape Coral, FL and Barbara Veltman (Kenny) of Fort Myers, FL; one sister,  Joan Souppa of Cape Coral; grandchildren, Samantha Jo Herrera, Adam Amburgey, Jennifer Ciolino, Louis Ciolino, Shane Ciolino and, Derek Ciolino, as well as many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  

Gail was preceded in death by her husband Louis in 1987.

The family will hold a celebration of life at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Hope (Hospice) Healthcare Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Parkway East, Cape Coral, FL 33909.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hope Healthcare (Hope Hospice), 9470 Healthpark Cir., Fort Myers, FL 33908.

Mullins Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cape Coral, is entrusted with final care.

    There are so many good things I can say about Ms. Gail. What a great lady she was, whenever someone in my family was in Gulf Coast Hospital, Gail was always there visiting. Such a kind soul. TJ said this picture looks like he remember Ms. Gail. You have many memories and laughter to keep her in all your hearts. I am praying for the family.
