Harold Stuart Landry

January 31, 1927 - October 7, 2014

Harold S. (Harry) Landry, 87, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida since 1990, formerly of Easthampton, Massachusetts, died Tuesday, October 7th, 2014 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral. Born in Northampton, Massachusetts on January 31, 1927, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Edith (Kinne) Landry.

Mr. Landry served in the Merchant Marines and the United States Army.

Mr. Landry was employed as Purchasing Manager for Tubed Products, Inc., of Easthampton, a subsidiary of McCormick and Company, Inc., until his retirement in 1990.

He leaves his wife of 65 years, the former Mary Hefferon of Cape Coral, two daughters, Karen Hetzler (Doug) of North Palm Beach, Florida and Ellen Seeley (Randy) of Cape Coral. He was preceded in death by his son, James Landry, and his daughter-in-law, Jeani Landry.

He leaves six beloved grandchildren: Jennifer Landry Frizzell, Scott Landry, Megan Hetzler Farmer, Amanda Hetzler, Devon Davis, and Andrew (AJ) Davis, and two great-grandsons, Marcus McCoy and Jackson Farmer.

He also leaves his sister, Muriel Holich, of Whately, Massachusetts, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Landry was also preceded in death by his brothers Frank, Russell, Kenneth, and Donald, and sisters, Pauline Shaffer and Edna Winne.

There will be a graveside service at St. Brigid’s Cemetery in Easthampton, Massachusetts, at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are being made by Graham’s Funeral Home in Easthampton.
